Red Earth

A pink coat, a mirror ball and two days in the red hills of Almería.

Maison Orla wanted the spring coat to look like it belonged nowhere near a city. We scouted three quarries and picked the one where the earth turns rust red in the last two hours of light.

The mirror ball came from the set designer's garage. It catches the sky in every frame, so the coat never sits against one flat colour.
